As visitors cross the rustic wooden bridge that leads into Adventureland, they are greeted with a unique jungle-like disorder that combines both the architecture and natural wonders of places like Thailand, Africa, Polynesia, the Caribbean, and Asia. In the middle of this exotic environment is the oblong Central Plaza, where the wild sounds of elephants, booming drums, and exotic birds foretell of the safari-like fantasy that lies ahead.
To the right of Center Plaza is Adventureland Bazaar, home to a wide array of safari-themed clothing stores, jewelry shops, and more. Store names like Traders of Timbuktu, Zanzibar Shell Company, and Bwana Bob's give some idea of the merchandise to be found here.
On the other side of Central Plaza is Caribbean Plaza, home to a large selection of shops selling a myriad of tropical merchandise. Items range from tropical clothing to embroidered hats to pirate garb and jewelry.
