Towering at 180 feet tall, Cinderella's Castle is one of the most recognized structures in the world. One cannot help but think of this inspiring castle when the Magic Kingdom springs to mind. Cinderella's Castle serves as the gateway to Fantasyland, but visitors should not rush through its arched corridor without stopping to view the dazzling murals adorning the walls.
Five panels, measuring nearly 15 feet high and 10 feet wide, are comprised of millions of bits of multicolored glass, silver, and gold. The artwork depicts major scenes of the famous Cinderella story. Other than the inspiring external architecture of this world-famous castle and the aesthetic wonderment of the murals inside, there is not much more to the building. Aside from being home to the pricey King's Gallery gift shop inside, the castle is simply an icon, a symbol of the magic of Disney, of the world of fantasy and dreams.
