The 40-acre World Showcase Lagoon is more than just the centerpiece at Epcot that separates the park's two main lands: Future World and World Showcase. The lagoon also serves as the watery stage to one of Disney's most spectacular events: "IllumiNations: Reflections of Earth." This laser light and fireworks show takes place every night just before park's closing, and it can be seen and heard for miles. The show is a magnificent combination of lasers, lights, fireworks, fountains, and music, all of which are delivered by each of the 11 different nations represented at World Showcase. Unlike most events of this type, visitors will find a good spot for viewing anywhere surrounding the lagoon. However, it has been said that the most spectacular views are from atop the bridge between France and the United Kingdom, the promenade in front of Canada and Norway, and on the bridge between China and Germany.
