This intriguing attraction, dedicated to the imagination and the creativity of the human mind, is housed in two glass pyramids. The main draw at the Journey into Imagination pavilion is the immensely popular 3-D movie "Honey, I Shrunk the Audience," and the Image Works computer-enhanced playground.
Try to get in line as quickly as possible, but make time to check out the two sets of fountains at the front of the pavilion. The Serpentine Fountains always illicit a few oohs and aahs as streams of water randomly leapfrog from one location to another (including over the heads of visitors). The Jellyfish fountains are also a crowd-pleaser, as jellyfish-shaped figures are created from water. Small children go wild over the fountains and you'll probably get some good photos here.
The Journey into Imagination ride is guided by a scholarly looking chap named Dreamfinder, and his purple dragon sidekick, Figment. Both guides greet visitors outside the pavilions and proceed to lead the crowds on an exploration of how creativity works. The ride takes visitors through several intriguing sections that teem with educational special effects (we won't give anything away).
