Undoubtedly the biggest attraction in Africa, if not the entire Animal Kingdom, The Kilimanjaro Safari offers something for everyone: free-roaming wildlife, amazing landscapes, and educational insight. The 20-minute safari begins with a brief introduction to the journey by a guide who most likely comes from a particular region in Africa. Visitors are soon whisked away in a camouflaged vehicle with a roof but no windows.
The open-air vehicle allows for an incredible encounter with some of Africa's most beautiful creatures. Many of these animals wander near the vehicle as well, while others might cross its path. Not to worry: the carnivorous animals do not approach the vehicle.
The climax of the ride occurs near the end of the trip, when a band of ivory poachers is discovered hunting for elephants. As your guide decides to chase after the renegades, you are taken along for the ride.
