Marvel Super Hero Island incorporates unprecedented technology with the most popular comic book heroes and villains of all time. Setting the stage for the first ever interactive comic book experience are three state-of-the-art thrill rides. The first to be seen and perhaps the most imposing ride is the Incredible Hulk Coaster, where passengers shoot out of the emerald Gamma Force Accelerator with the same force as a U.S. Air Force F-16 fighter attack jet, blasting from zero to 40 mph in just two seconds.
Another popular attraction is The Amazing Adventures of Spider-Man, a revolutionary ride that incorporates moving ride vehicles, filmed 3-D action, and amazing special effects. Adjacent to the Spiderman Ride sits the sky-piercing twin towers of Doctor Doom's Fearfall, reaching 200 feet into the air. As guests sit in the four-passenger seats, feet dangling, they are fired to the top of these steel constructions, only to be sent plummeting at unthinkable speed back to the ground.
