This attraction presented by General Motors is one of the most popular attractions in Disney. Passengers board six-person vehicles and are subjected to the rigorous process of testing new cars. Cars (and passengers) go through several different tests including an anti-lock brake demonstration, an environmental extreme test and suspension tests. The climax of the ride is the speed test, where the cars run on a steeply banked outdoor track. This track runs around the outside of the Test Track building, so as you approach the ride you can see cars whip around the track at nearly 60 mph.
After the ride is finished you enter a huge demonstration area where you can play with interactive driving exhibits and learn about the newest developments in automotive technology. There is also a General Motors showroom where you can check out GM's newest cars and trucks.
The actual ride is only about five minutes long, but you'll miss out if you don't spend some time with the interactive games. Kids and parents will both enjoy this attraction. Expect long lines.
