Toon Lagoon is home to more than 150 of the world's most beloved cartoon characters from the Sunday Funnies. Guests can stroll down Comic Strip Lane and see life-size and life-like images of characters such as Beetle Bailey, Hagar The Horrible, and Krazy Kat; just three of the nearly 80 characters who inhabit this colorful part of the island.
Guests will delight in some action adventure with a ride on Dudley Do-Right's Ripsaw Falls, where riders must save Nell from evil Snidely Whiplash. This rip-roaring flume ride - the first to take riders beneath the water - is named after the fictional city from the popular 1960s cartoon, "Rocky and Bullwinkle."
Across the Lagoon from Ripsaw Falls is Popeye & Bluto's Bilge-Rat Barge, where guests embark on a bumping, churning, twisting, white-water raft ride with a top speed that reaches 16-feet-per-second. The raft holds 12 passengers total. Next door to the Bilge-Rat Barge is the three-story boat - Me Ship, The Olive - built by Popeye himself for his favorite gal. This family-friendly interactive playland features dozens of participatory activities from bow to stern.
